CLA Conference, Stamford, CT with Sharon Clapp and Kate Sheehan

Besides the other programs, I happened to find myself on a panel with two real movers and shakers — Sharon Clapp from the Connecticut State Library and Kate Sheehan from Bibliomation. Sharon discussed the use of facebook, twitter, and flickr at the CSL, and Kate’s presentation was broader than Sharon’s (view Sharon’s presentation) — a kind of summary of thoughts on social media in libraries — and, she provided plenty of insight into her experience with incorporating LibraryThing for Libraries in the library online catalog.
