having fun creating content

As we all know, a good percentage of postings on YouTube are just “all in good fun.” My daughter, a creative writer major, and my son Ben, an acting major, were really in charge of this shoot. Meeko did all the taping and editing; the major prop is courtesy of Anita. If you watch the video, look closely for a sponge.

I’d like to make a public appeal for assistance with using the Google Map API (or Amazon API or LibraryThing API). Please contact me if you can help. I made this Google My Maps display of ten “Great American Writers of the Nineteenth Century.” Google My Maps is an excellent outlet to produce something that calls on one’s creativity while making something useful.

Both maps and videos are two content venues that will be discussed in the book UContent: An Information Professional’s Guide to User-Generated Content.

  1. Anita says:

Nice map! Great heads! User friendly! I read Harriet Beecher Stowe’s biography – very nice – very informative.

  2. I’m delighted that you found it user-friendly. That’s what I’m shooting for.
