getting a handle on the orientation of the subject matter

At this point I’ve read four books on Web 2.0 and librarians — to some degree they all murmur the same mantra — ‘get with the program… IM… blog… wiki… social bookmarking.’ And that’s fine, but my book is about user generated content and it’s aimed at information professionals. I think librarians are already aware that there is more to a library’s presence than a Web page (or, in the case of an enlightened library a blog/wiki/particaptory catalog/ FlickR library tour).

This leaves me to ask myself (or you, if you are reading this) what forms of user generated content will I focus on? I want to focus on UContent that librarians will have a stake in.
